It produces quite many `Hunk #mm FAILED at nn' more; i.e.,
there is no symmetry.

I am rebuilding right now my maintenance kernel with
a mere PaX-patch applied (the most recent one that I
have just discovered ... see previous ==[ continued]==
addendum).

As soon I am ready (daily power outages), I will detail.
