This new admin tool package only works with the current kernel code, which 
is also on rsync. If you need the tools now with the older kernel code, 
please retry after removing the lines with the new attribute 
A_fake_root_uid. 

1.2.3-pre is currently under heavy development to get as much as possible 
done before the Cebit. So there will be new rsync versions every few days, 
I will try to keep them consistent.
