I tried that one but can't boot the prepatched kernel. Unfortunately I
don't have physical access to the machine so I can't tell what's on the
screen (there's nothing in any log).

The last rsbac kernel I had running was 2.6.5 with 1.2.3-pre5. Because of
some crashes (buggy memory) I used vanilla kernels .6 and .7.
With .7 I switched to software raid 1 but keept all rsbac.dat/ directories.

I've used the boot parameters 'rsbac_softmode rsbac_nosyslog'.

Could the software raid be a problem?
