Hi!,

http://uml.rsbac.org/ is kinda outdated. I took the liberty of trying to
port it to current versions of stuff.

It could become:

User Mode Linux for 2.4 kernels is, like RSBAC, still a separate patch.
This page lists the steps to get RSBAC v1.2.2 running with a 2.4.22
kernel and the uml patch 2.4.22-6.

Alternatively, download the complete prepatched RSBAC and UML source tree at
http://www.bzzt.net/~arnouten/linux-2.4.22-rsbac-v1.2.2-uml-2.4.22-6.tar.bz2,
untar it and start at step 5.

1. Download
 * kernel 2.4.22 source archive, e.g. from ftp.kernel.org or a local mirror.
 * RSBAC v1.2.2 kernel tar archive, 2.4.22 patch and admin tools from
   http://www.rsbac.org/code/.
 * The UML patch 2.4.22-6 from http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/.
2. Unpack kernel archive, untar RSBAC kernel archive, apply RSBAC patch as usual
3. Apply the UML patch. You will get one reject for mm/mprotect.c, just ignore it.
4. Untar the patched UML files from http://bzzt.net/~arnouten/rsbac-uml-files-2.4.22-v1.2.2-2.4.22-6.tar.gz
5. Configure, touch Makefile and compile as usual:
   make menuconfig ARCH=um ; touch Makefile ; make dep linux ARCH=um

(bear in mind that i had absolutely no idea what i was doing (ok exaggerating
 there), i just ported the patch that was at uml.rsbac.org. and it *seems* to
 work here ;))

Kind regards,
