The patch is buggy, because the optional setuid etc. interceptions for 
effective and fs uid are missing. I will create a new patch ASAP. The 
prepatched kernel for 2.4.22 has already been removed, because people might 
think it is correct.

The patch for 2.4.21 seems to contain the same problem, I will keep you 
informed. 2.2.25 looks fine.
